“There is only one god and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death:
“Not today.” ― George R.R. Martin
"There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures." (W. Shakespeare)
You know that moment when you’re reading a book and you just have to stop and bite your lip and squeak or sigh or close your eyes
and wrinkle your nose and forehead and press the book against your heart and just like sit there and
try to soak up the gorgeous literature via osmosis?
That’s my favorite part of reading and all you need to know about me!
